It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.Job DescriptionLead and oversee the Fixed Income, Underwriting, and STN Operations unit, ensuring efficient processing, adherence to regulatory requirements, and the delivery of high-quality operational support for all related products and services within UOB (Thai).Job ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise the daily operations of the Fixed Income, Underwriting, and STN (Securities Transfer & Nomination) unit, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.Oversee the end-to-end operational lifecycle for fixed income products, including trade capture, settlement, reconciliation, and corporate actions.Lead the operational support for all underwriting activities, ensuring smooth execution from pre-issuance to post-settlement.Ensure strict compliance with all relevant internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices for fixed income, underwriting, and STN operations.Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks, enhance efficiency, and ensure data integrity.Manage and mentor a team of operations specialists, fostering a high-performance culture and facilitating professional development.Collaborate closely with front office, risk management, compliance, and SG-GMOC and all related parties to streamline processes, resolve issues, and support new product initiatives.Participate in system enhancements and UAT testing for new applications or upgrades related to fixed income, underwriting, and STN operations.Act as a key point of contact for internal and external audits related to the unit's operations.QualificationBachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in back-office operations within the banking or financial services industry, with a strong focus on Fixed Income, Underwriting, and/or Securities Transfer & Nomination.Proven leadership experience, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.In-depth knowledge of fixed income products, market conventions, and operational workflows.Solid understanding of underwriting processes and the operational aspects of capital market transactions.Familiarity with STN processes and regulatory requirements related to securities transfer and nomination in Thailand.Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management principles.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Proficiency in relevant financial software and systems (e.g., swift, core banking systems, trading platforms).Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.Fluent in both Thai and English (written and spoken)หมายเหตุ : ธนาคารมีความจำเป็นจะต้องดำเนินตรวจสอบและเก็บข้อมูลประวัติอาชญากรรมของผู้สมัครในตำแหน่งงานนี้เพื่อตรวจสอบคุณสมบัติหรือลักษณะต้องห้ามตามนโยบายของธนาคาร Remark: The Bank requires the checking and collection of criminal records for candidates of this position in order to verify qualifications and/or disqualifications for the job position in accordance with the Bank’s policy. Additional RequirementsBe a Part of the UOB FamilyUOB is an equal opportunity employer.
