Supervises ongoingoperational effectiveness; coordinates operations with other groups, personnel and client; directsoperational planning and ensures the availability of skilled personnel and resources as needed to executerequired services in an effective, efficient and timely manner. Provides oversight ensuring the safe, cleanpreparation of nutritional and appealing meals and offering culinary instruction to subordinate employees,subcontractors, and/or labor broker personnel. Supervises inventory, ordering and food storage.Ensures all food service operations are in compliance with health and safety codes while adhering to theapproved menu plan. Maintains effective training programs for all supervised personnel. Ensures a safeand sanitary working environment. Assures quality and quantity of food preparation and delivery toclients. Works cooperatively with other staff.As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance withthe “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendumPosition may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace toproject worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee willpossess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level asnecessary to perform assigned job functions.Position requires the basic skills and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.Fluor values the contributions of a diverse and inclusive workforce and is an Equal EmploymentOpportunity employer.Basic Job RequirementsHigh school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, andfour (4) years to seven (7) years related experience. Requires computer skills and proficiency usingemail, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions.Other Job RequirementsCandidate must possess TB Med 530 - Tri Service Manager Food Code or Manager ServSafe Certification at time of hire and maintain TB Med 530 - Tri Service Food Code or ServSafe Certification for the duration of employment.Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, andfour (4) years to seven (7) years related experience.
