Founding Engineer for PropTech startup

We are Sebastian Seifert, Andreas Veller, and Achim Bönsch – all graduates of the WHU Bachelor Class of 2011. After 13 successful years building the fintech company viafintech and ultimately selling it in one of Germany’s largest fintech exits for a nine-figure amount, we are now pursuing new challenges:We found new ventures and invest in startups and venture capital funds.For one of our portfolio companies, the PropTech startup vivanta, we are now looking for a Founding Engineer who is excited to shape the technical foundation from day one and take on a key long-term role in the company.About vivantaWith vivanta, we are building an AI-powered property management company, transforming a centuries-old €20 billion market in Germany.High demand in a fully fragmented market10+ year customer retentionStrong monthly recurring revenue potentialA massive playground for technological innovationPositioned at the intersection of strong unit economics and exceptional technical execution, we are creating a product that is both indispensable and designed for long-term market adoption.TasksWe’re looking for a Founding Engineer who’s excited about shaping a company from the ground up - not just writing code, but defining the technical foundation of our product and business.You will:Design and implementation of end-to-end automations in areas such as accounting, invoice approval, communication, and property management – including monitoring, logging, and error handlingBuilding a scalable, modular platform architecture that integrates ERP, CRM, document management, and digital owner portals.
