Job DescriptionThis role at NIQ represents a crucial position within our Finance Operations FP&A Team. This role is dedicated to supporting our regional business finance team, focusing on enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and customer centricity across all activities within our center of excellence. As a key member of our Global Finance Operations team, you will ensure that services provided adhere to the highest standards and comply with clearly defined service level agreements (SLAs) with various internal stakeholders. Your exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills will drive informed decision-making, significantly contributing to the transformation and optimization of finance operations at NIQ. This important role will be part of the Global Finance Operations – within our Finance Planning & Analysis Service Delivery Team.Key Responsibilities:This role is responsible for delivering high-quality financial planning, analysis, and strategic insights to support the vertical business units (Ecom, Retailer, SMB) across the region. This role acts as a strategic partner to vertical leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making and ensuring financial alignment with business goals.Coordinate financial planning and forecasting for Ecom, Retailer, and SMB verticals, ensuring alignment with regional and global targets. Deliver insightful performance analysis through monthly reviews, dashboards, and variance commentary to drive business decisions. Partner with vertical leadership to support strategic initiatives, commercial planning, and investment prioritization. Standardize FP&A reporting across verticals to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability. Drive adoption of automated reporting tools. Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, business cases, and long-range strategy. Support business strategic reviews and business deep dive. Drive continuous improvement in analytics, reporting automation, and COE capabilities. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA or CPA is preferred. 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a similar industry or commercial finance role. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and the impact of financial decisions on business outcomes. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in financial modelling and experience with financial software and systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (PBI, Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.) and ERP systems. Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to details. Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of effectively presenting information and responding to questions from stakeholders. Leadership and Initiative: Proven ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
