The Local Fragrance & Beauty team are responsible for the visibility and performance of the brand in the area, engaging both clients and distributors. Deeply attuned to the local clientele and its needs and desires in order to deliver the ‘One Area, One Story’ strategy, the Local Fragrance & Beauty Wholesale team ensure that wholesale boutiques, distributors and department stores have the resources required to deliver the best possible results for CHANEL F&B, while meeting performance targets. Ensuring that the spirit of CHANEL’s fragrance, beauty and skincare collections is relayed to the brand’s clients via a client journey that delights and inspires, the Local F&B Wholesale team develop close relationships with distributors and wholesale partners to convey and uphold Mlle Chanel’s bold vision of beauty.IN THIS METIER, WE ARE ENERGISED BY:Acting as a brand ambassador for CHANEL F&B by representing the creative and commercial interests of the House to the wholesale network:Managing and monitoring of CHANEL Brand equity, policy, quality and sales quantity in in the market and at point of salesCreating an efficient, regular and periodical visit route plan of existing designated point of sales. Monitoring non-authorized point of sales to counter the grey market.With the support of the trade marketing and field team, ensuring and implementing of merchandising guidelines/recommendations by axes given by CHANEL (taking care of modules, visuals, testers and their updates).Planning, and Implementation of Novelties to Beauty Confidents and retailer staff.Planning, negotiating and implementing all sales activities (promotions, windows) under use of all available PLV, SPM and Marketing tools (tester, samples).Evaluating the points of sales according to CHANEL quality criteria to inform the national action plansReporting on competition activities in the market and sharing with the team and managementBased on market knowledge, contribute to new ideas that can help the company develop the activity in the territoryGalvanizing sales growth and encouraging distributors to grow their CHANEL F&B business:Being responsible for the balance of resources and revenues, and the CHANEL market shares of the areaCreating strong relationships with distributors via regular visits to the points of sales and local distributor collaborationWith the help of the marketing team, negotiating local animations in the distributors’ points of sales to engage clientsMeasuring and analyzing performance and creating action plans to reach performance targetsResponsibility for planning and achievement of monthly sell-in and sell-out turnover per door/retailer in the market Ensuring that she/he is getting adequate support and deliveries as well as support from marketing and trade to achieve objectivesReviewing and ensuring of availability of assortment by point of sales and retailer, avoiding of stock shortages and reporting to both sales administration and marketing teams.Handling of returns by CHANEL rulesEnsuring the excellence of CHANEL’s F&B Client Experience:Managing and supporting Beauty Confidents and beauty teams in building a privileged relationship with clients and offering training and challengesDeveloping client experiences and events to delight and inspire clients and draw them closer to the HouseDeveloping leadership and people strength across the Wholesale department:Managing the team in terms of recruitment, leadership, setting and monitoring individual goals of team members, performing year-end retrospective and dedicating one-on-one time to individual coachingMentoring team members and laying out action plans for individual growth, including training programs in partnership with Learning, Styling, Client/Marketing teamsDrive the success of our Beauty Confidents through effective management, fostering a high-performance culture that leads to the accomplishment of strategic objectives while nurturing individual growth and excellence.QualificationsPostgraduate degree and experience of at least 5 years in Cosmetic Companies in a multicultural environmentMinimum 2 years experience in managing teamsExcellent communication skills and organizational skillsFluency in English is a mustTrustworthy with integrity/ethicsAt Chanel, we are focused on creating an inclusive culture that nurtures personal growth, contributing to collective progress.
