Freelance CAD Engineer for challenging offshore projectsDo you prefer your engineering challenges the bigger the better? Join the Triton Offshore freelance pool! We're looking for a driven CAD Engineer to create and modify 3D designs and 2D detailed drawings for complex offshore projects.Our ideal Freelance CAD Engineer is based in Europe and experienced with AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Inventor, and/or Vault. You'll work independently on a project basis, delivering drawings and 3D designs that meet project requirements within set deadlines.What you'll do:Create 2D operational- and construction drawings using CAD software. This includes lifting plans, anchor pattern drawings, personnel transfer drawings, load on/off drawings, deck layouts, and custom construction drawings.Develop 3D models and perform clash checks.Ensure designs comply with safety-, reliability-, and performance standards, as well as required regulations and industry standards.What you bring:A minimum of 5 years of experience with AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Inventor, and Vault.Proficiency in both written and spoken English.Strong communication- and problem-solving skills.A sharp eye for detail.What we offer:A competitive compensation for your services, by mutual agreement..Project-based work, largely remote.About Triton OffshoreTriton Offshore was established in 2019 and is headquartered in the city center of Rotterdam.
