Our studio capabilities range from strategic ideation and insights, creative development, branding and identity, experiential, web design and development, campaigns and content creation, all the way through full-scale production and execution.About this role: MATTE is seeking a Freelance Client and Project Lead to support client and internal cross-functional teams in driving seamless operations, partnership development, and day-to-day client management. This role is both strategic and operational, ensuring workstreams run smoothly, deliverables are met, and partnership opportunities continue to grow with consistency, clarity, and creative excellence.You will act as the operational backbone for client's ongoing programs, ensuring communication is streamlined, timelines are maintained, and internal teams have the structure and information needed to deliver at a high level.Client-Facing Support & Delivery:Partner closely with the client team to develop and refine partnership documents, proposals, and related materials.Support organic growth and identify opportunities for larger-scale partnerships and expansions.Maintain overarching brand consistency across curations, programming, campaign assets, and internally produced materials.Lead day-to-day client communications, ensuring clarity, alignment, and timely responses.Own staffing plans, project plans, and resourcing recommendations for active workstreams.Oversee timeline management, deliverable tracking, and ensuring deadlines are met across all partners and internal teams.Run weekly client operations meetings, providing status updates, flagging risks, and aligning next steps.Oversee design support for ad hoc requests (e.g., graphic design, deck design, light asset creation).Excludes comprehensive presentations, which will be scoped separately.Internal Operational Support:Build and maintain budgets, staffing plans, and project planning documentation within Airtable.Own and manage the client tracker for timeline, deliverable, and workflow oversight.Run an internal weekly operations meeting to ensure alignment between production, design, creative, and client services teams.Ensure all internal teams are working against clear deadlines, roles, and expectations.
