SummaryThe Vice President of eCommerce plays a pivotal role in accelerating massivecommercial acceleration and expansion while scaling Motion's ecommerce capabilitiesglobally. This role establishes a compelling product roadmap, inspires and develops high performing teams, and serves as a subject matter expert in ecommerce capabilities,experiences, supporting data, interfaces, and integrations – all focused on ensuringcustomers have the preferred experience. This role is charged with building andsustaining double digit growth across the channels and establishing the assets asmeaningful channels in Motion’s go to market approach.Job DutiesAccountable for eCommerce channel profitability across the entire organization.Develops and executes strategies to drive significant and profitable revenue growthacross ecommerce and related commercial channels, aligning with overall corporateobjectives.Identifies and capitalizes on new market opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights toexpand customer base and deepen market penetration.Collaborates cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance to optimizefunnel velocity and conversion rates.Creates the desired customer experience for a variety of personas (internally andexternally) and industries.Leads digital commerce transformation, including all stakeholders to most effectivelydrive adoption and deliver meaningful valueEstablishes and enhances email marketing, search engine optimization, onlineadvertising, web analytics, social media marketing, experimentation / testing, andcustomer experience. Integrates the online marketing efforts with the overall corporatemarketing campaigns and brand imaging.Manages digital investment, digital strategy and education of digital landscape and newopportunities across the entire business.Ensures favorable pricing from all digital partners and pricing parity across divisions.Develops key performance indicators (KPI's) for digital asset selection and pre/post buymetric.Directs and controls the total business activities for Motion eCommerce to ensurecustomer satisfaction and return on capital is maximized and short- and long-termobjectives are continuously met or exceeded.Leads the creation and continuous refinement of the ecommerce product roadmap,incorporating customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence.Prioritizes initiatives that enhance user experience, operational efficiency, and scalabilityof Motion's ecommerce platform.Partners closely with technology teams to align product vision with technical execution onassociated platforms.Builds, mentors, and retains a world-class ecommerce, product management, andcommercial growth team.Fosters a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.Drives performance management and professional development initiatives to cultivate future business leaders.Serves as the company’s internal expert on ecommerce product technologies,architecture, and best practices around customer experience and adoption.Ensures the ecommerce platform leverages modern, scalable, and secure technologieswith a focus on cloud-native solutions and agile development methodologies.Remains current with emerging ecommerce trends, tools, and technologies to proactivelyposition the company as a digital commerce leader.Performs other duties as assigned.Education & ExperienceTypically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and fifteen (15) or more years ofrelated experience or an equivalent combination. Proven executive leadership experiencedriving ecommerce growth and digital transformation in large enterprise ($5B+) industrial orB2B companies.
