Role Description This is a volunteer hybrid role based in Sofia, with the flexibility to work both on-site and from home. The freelancer will assist with project execution, primarily focusing on supporting food safety audits, creating training materials, and conducting research aligned with the organization's food safety and quality standards. Additional responsibilities include contributing to coaching programs and offering creative input for enhancing strategic initiatives. Qualifications Proficiency in Quality and Food Safety practices, including BRCGS v9 Standards, food safety systems, and quality culture improvement.Strong background in research, R&D, and food technology, including knowledge in food ingredients, microbiology, and food processing basics.Experience in Lean practices and process improvement, along with problem-solving abilities to address critical site issues.Effective communication and mentorship skills for delivering coaching programs and workshops.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.Fluent in English; familiarity with the Bulgarian language is a plus.Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.
