Freelance Project Manager – Major Industrial Project (Antwerp, Belgium)

About Us: Our partner company, Excellence Squad is a European consulting firm specializing in Operational Excellence, Quality & Compliance, and Project Leadership across industries.We help organizations achieve measurable results through structured execution, and performance excellence.We are currently supporting one of our international clients — a well-established engineering and industrial company — during a major project transition in Belgium.To strengthen their leadership team, we are looking for an experienced Freelance Project Manager capable of driving execution, quality, and financial performance in a technically complex environment. This is a freelance contract-based assignment (initial duration: 9–12 months) based on-site in Antwerp, Belgium, with competitive conditions depending on experience and scope.What You’ll Do: Lead the end-to-end management of a large-scale industrial project.Coordinate MEP, infrastructure, and superstructure works.Ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality, safety, and schedule.Oversee project budgeting, cost control, progress payments, and cash flow.Manage subcontractors and suppliers across multiple disciplines.Report technical and financial progress to senior leadership.What We're Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.Proven experience working with EPC contractors on industrial or petrochemical projects.PMP certification preferred.Familiarity with FIDIC or NEC contract structures.Strong understanding of SCADA, BMS, HVAC, automation, and infrastructure integration.Excellent leadership, planning, and coordination skills.VCA VOL certificate required.Fluent English (spoken and written).Valid EU work or residence permit.Why Join:Contribute to a strategically important European industrial project.Collaborate in a multicultural, safety-driven, and high-performance environment.Work with flexible freelance conditions under a professional support framework.How to Apply:Interested in joining us?
