Front End Developer

Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of a Front-End Developer for an initial 7 month full remote contract in support of one of our customers’ enterprise federal health customers. The Front-End Developer will be supporting a web-based information system designed as a resource for surveillance and improvement of patient and healthcare personnel safety. This support & maintanance contract includes development, maintenance, support and modernization of the customer’s platform. The Front-End Developer will be responsible for designing and developing front-ends using React / KendoReact, building modular / reusable React components, analyzing existing code base, working with back-end developers to integrate UIs with microservices, etc.Required SkillsExperience designing, developing and unit test front-ends using React, KendoReact, Webpack in a module federation micro front-end architecture to run in an Azure cloud environment. Experience building modular, reusable Reach components and front-end libraries for long term scalability and future use. Experience analyzing existing code base and recommending and implementing updates for design / coding best practices for performance, scalability and accessibility. Experience working with back-end developers to integrate UIs with microservices. Experience performing 508 compliance development testing using Axe DevTools or other 508 compliance testing tools. Experience using Microsoft Pilot to assist with coding and unit testing. Experience using Azure Boards to manage work tasks.
