Job Description

Position StatementResponsible for greeting, receiving, welcoming and registration of hotel guest, maintaining their accounts and handling guests’ enquiries.Position Summary:Always display the highest standard of customer service, welcoming customers in a polite, gracious, and enthusiastic manner.Welcome guests upon their arrival, provide keys and direct guests to their assigned room(s).Register guests and collect necessary information (contact details and exact dates of their stay).Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.Post charges to appropriate guest accounts.Confirm and process all payment methods in accordance with hotel policies.Ensure that all changes in guest room information are done accurately.Complete daily audits at the start and end of shifts. Uses direct customer contact opportunities to promote in house sales e.g., offering to make restaurant bookings/follow up on accommodation reservations etc.Up-sell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities.Assist the Reservations and Call Center teams as directed. Respond to clients’ concerns in a timely and professional manner.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent vocational trainingExperience in customer service-related field preferred.Amazing interpersonal abilities.Top-of-the-line organizational skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.Knowledge of Property Management SystemsOutstanding written and verbal communication skills.Well-groomed, professional appearance.A team player with a can-do attitudeGoldwynn operates a twenty-four (24) hour business. Therefore, you will be scheduled to work shifts, which may change from time to time.
