Frontend Engineer - (Public Sector)

Candidates with public sector experience are preferred, as this role supports IT projects for government agencies.Responsibilities:Feature Development & DeliveryCollaborate with Business Analysts and Product Managers to translate requirements into user-friendly featuresBuild and maintain responsive, accessible, and scalable web applicationsApply frontend best practices to ensure reusability, performance, and accessibilityQuality Assurance & TestingWork with QA engineers to ensure proper testing and fix issues quicklyContribute to team quality through code reviews, pair programming, and testingDeployment & OperationsPartner with DevOps teams to support build, deployment, and release processesDocument technical decisions and share best practices with the teamRequirementsMust-HaveDegree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related fieldsMust have 2-5 years of relevant experienceProficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, Svelte)Familiarity with Git, branching workflows, and CICDExperience with UI libraries or frameworks (Tailwind, Material-UI, Bootstrap, etc.)Understanding of state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Recoil, MobX)Experience integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets)Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility best practicesGood to HaveExperience with Singapore Government Project will be advantageousExperience with frontend testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, etc.)Familiarity with build tools/bundlers (Webpack, Vite, Parcel, etc.)Experience with CI/CD for frontend (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Netlify, Vercel)Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (Next.js, Nuxt)Exposure to mobile frameworks (React Native, Flutter)Experience with authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT, OpenID Connect)Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Strapi, sanity.io )Experience using Storybook for UI component developmentInterest in performance optimization techniques and WebAssemblyCertificationCertified Scrum Developer (CSD) / Professional Scrum Developer (PSD) is preferredScrumMaster (CSM) / Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is preferredBenefitsBy submitting your resume/CV, you consent and agree to allow the information provided to be used and processed by or on behalf of Xtremax Pte Ltd for purposes related to your registration of interest in current or future employment with us and for the processing of your application for employment.You also represent to us that you have obtained the consent of your referees when you disclose to us their personal data for the purpose of conducting reference checks.The personal data held by us relating to your application will be kept strictly confidential and in accordance with the PDPA.
