Full-Stack Engineer

Hello All, We are looking for a full stack engineer with equity or equity derivatives experience. Hybrid in NYC No third parties.As a full-stack engineer, you will be working across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, covering the inception, development, testing, release and ongoing maintenance of a product or service. You would be working with the business stakeholders, architects and other engineers in a culture of collaboration. Role:This position will work closely with various equities front office traders as a member of a highly skilled, agile development team. We are building systems for Delta1 business, used by trading desks across the globe and we are seeking a dedicated professional who is a team player, self-motivated, and who achieves technological excellence in short timescales.This is an extremely hands-on, delivery-focused, technical position involving a lot of analysis, coding, testing, and interfacing with business users. A good knowledge of Equities Trading is highly desirable but a thirst for knowledge and the knack to apply that knowledge is just as good to us. There will be a high degree of teamwork and technical peer interaction involved.Responsibilities:Develop and deliver to production small nonbreaking iterative change that provides business valueHelp consult on business requirements with specific input around technology capability and limitationsHelp maintain and improve the stability and reliability of our production environmentsWork closely with the business in London, Hong Kong, New York, and other centers on a day-to-day basis and co-ordinate with teams to ensure that the business and project needs are met.Mandatory Skills / Experience:Previous working experience with equity derivatives and equities knowledgeStrong business sense with good understanding in how IT systems impact business objectivesJava/JEE design and development skills. Must have strong analysis (both requirements and system), design skills and architecture disciplinesCurrent hands-on experience in Java 17, Spring Boot, Microservices, PostgreSQL& Mongo databaseExperience in UI technologies – ReactExposure Investigation and Resolution and performance testingExperience in delivering solution through Agile methodology - and DevOps tooling such as JIRA, Maven, Ansible etc.
