Job DetailsDescriptionHomestead Village is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to work in one of our skilled nursing households. Nurses with exceptional skills, a passion for serving older adults and excitement for leading a small team of caregivers would be a great fit for this position. Our full-time nurses enjoy a schedule that allows for great work/life balance by working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week. The position available would be 4:45pm-5:15am and would include every other weekend.Location - The Apostle Center for Care, 56-bed Skilled Nursing Facility Base Pay: Determined based upon years licensed; Newly licensed nurse, with less than a year experience start at $28.00; plus applicable shift & weekend differentials.Shift/Weekend Differentials$1.50 additional from 3:00pm-11:00pm$0.75 additional from 11:00pm-7:00am $1.25 additional on Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) QualificationsCurrently licensed in the Commonwealth of PA as a Licensed Practical NurseMinimum of three years as an LPNMinimum of three years of supervisory experiencePrevious experience in a skilled nursing facility preferredFamiliarity with SNF RegulationsWork cooperatively with team members & compassionately with residentsAbility to actively direct subordinates in a professional & supportive mannerAble to perform the essential job functions of the job description.ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Responsibilities (the following is an overview of the responsibilities of the position and should not be considered all inclusive):Establish respectful, warm relationship with residents, perform rounds.Perform all aspects of resident care in accordance with nursing practices & policies.
