It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.ResponsibilitiesJob DescriptionBe familiar with the Group AML/CFT procedures and regulatory requirementLead the AML Assurance team to effectively execute the Assurance planPlan and define Assurance scope and risk targeted methodology to effectively test potential ML/TF risk areasProficient in using Data Analytics in the assurance testing strategy to ensure comprehensivenessContinuously update assurance testing strategy to keep up with emergent ML/TF trendsEnsure timely execution of monthly assurance test, timely escalation of risk signals and present results meaningfully to stakeholdersProactively suggest suitable and relevant operational advisory to business units for key processes such as customer on-boarding and retention of customer relationshipsIdentify and propose to business units on areas of improvement to manage AML/CFT risksReview new business initiatives for compliance to AML/CFT governance requirementsConduct investigation into suspected ML/TF activitiesReview audit findings from internal & external reviews to assess adequacy of controls and facilitate formulation of corrective actions.Participate in strategic AML projects and initiatives to advise on AML controlsFacilitate the gathering and provision of data/information to Management oversightConduct Compliance Training to raise staff awareness on AML/CFT controls, trends and typologiesPrepare regular management reports to raise senior management awareness on the risk areas and exposureAdditional RequirementsDevelop, Engage, Execute, StrategiseBe a Part of the UOB FamilyUOB is an equal opportunity employer.
