The Sales Manager is a critical role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients and ensure the efficient delivery of freight forwarding or logistics services. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Responsibilities: Manage sales activities, develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets focusing on new customer particular in freight forwarding business. Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, including setting goals and KPIs and provide coaching, guidance, and training to the sales team.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and expansion. Negotiate the contracts and pricing agreements with clients. Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management and maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and client interactions. Coordinate with the internal teams such as operations and/or related departments to ensure smooth and timely cargo shipments, customer satisfaction and seamless service delivery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in any fields. Min. 8 years in hand-on sales experiences of a managerial or leadership role preferably in freight forwarder or logistics business. Fully fluent in Thai and excellent English communication is MUST.
Sales and Business Development skills: Proficiency in sales techniques, including prospecting, closing deals, and managing client relationships. Proven experience in sales, customer acquisition, track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Logistics Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Freight Forwarding or Ship Agency or Logistics or transportation or supply chain service is MUST. Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and prepare sales reportsCommunication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectivelyProblem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinkingExcellent leadership skill, strong organizational and time management skill with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong in interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with internal and external diversified stakeholders.
