JOB TITLE: Engineer_DesignDIVISION: GAP (Gas and Process)REPORTING TO: Team Leader_Engineering (Mechanical)LOCATION: Busan, South Korea[MISSION]Interpret and translate engineering concepts into design schemes and layouts for subsystems or major assemblies to support the production of competitive products. Prepare production design materials and data and define or update existing designs as needed. Develop and maintain products to ensure they meet specifications, business requirements, and quality standards. Ensure that the design engineering function adheres to best CAD practices as well as the guidelines and standards established within the department.[KEY RESPONSIBILITY]2D/3D system design of compressors (e.g. lubrication oil system, base frame, piping and auxiliary components) according to related specifications, work standards, design codes and standards in cooperation with project team.Develop and create department standards for Solidworks and 2D Auto-cad using best practicesReduce drawing office hours by improving efficiency through best use of the available CAD systems and other tools.Design of general arrangement and foundation planCoordination with AC product companies, GECIA and local component suppliersParticipation during supplier meeting for technical clarificationCoordination with other department including drawing for productionPartially,Customer coordinationIssuing purchase request (non-production material)Internal support of the various function in engineering and productionEnsure that the company’s health and Safety policy is adhered to with the aim being to maintain a safe working environment.General administration work, coordination with internal IT/IS function in the AC Korea [REQUIREMENTS]Qualified to Degree level or equivalent in mechanical engineering. However, extensive relevant experience may be considered.More than 5 years working experience for 3D CAD design (SolidWorks is must) in engineering or production environment.Experience working in a multinational or machinery export company advantageous.Good English in both spoken and written advantageousGood computer skills: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD 2D and Solidworks (SAP knowledge is a surplus)Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit.Willing to travelUniting curious mindsBehind every innovative solution, there are people working together to transform the future.
