About the RoleThe Buyer is responsible for the creation, management, and execution of the assortment and financial strategy to achieve sales, margin, and inventory goals. This role ensures that strategies are tailored to meet the unique needs of the Taiwan customer. As a central cross-functional leader, the Buyer collaborates closely with North America Merchandising, Japan Buying, Allocation, Marketing, Stores, Visual, and Online teams. What You’ll Do•Identify product, financial, and white space opportunities through internal and competitive hindsight analyses. •Develop and communicate comprehensive pre-season strategies that align with customer needs and financial targets across multiple categories.
•Build assortments aligned with financial plans, product architecture, SKU/style goals, and time-on-offer expectations. •Identify and execute on opportunities by channel and level, partnering cross-functionally to deliver results. •Set and manage AUC, CC, and TOO targets to support category-level financial goals. •Create and manage product architecture and line plans based on historical performance and current trends. •Own style-level investments that drive sales, margin, and inventory plans. •Lead category analysis to identify trends, mitigate risks, and seize opportunities. •Drive profitability by leading markdown and promotional strategies aligned with divisional and brand goals.
•Manage the daily business to deliver results aligned with the overall brand strategy, contributing to long-term growth and success.
