The company operates its own fleet of trucks, heavy equipment, and logistics services to support quarry operations and large-scale construction projects. With a strong commitment to reliability, safety, and operational excellence, Al Wahid Group continuously strives to maintain high standards in equipment management and logistics operations.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Garage Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our vehicle and equipment garage in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing maintenance activities for company trucks, light vehicles, and heavy equipment, ensuring all vehicles are operating safely and efficiently.The Garage Supervisor will coordinate repair schedules, supervise technicians and mechanics, monitor spare parts inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance along with leadership skills to manage garage staff and maintain smooth workflow.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily operations of the garage and workshopSchedule and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and inspections of trucks and company vehiclesManage a team of mechanics and techniciansEnsure preventive maintenance is conducted according to scheduleDiagnose mechanical issues and oversee troubleshooting and repairsMaintain records of vehicle maintenance, service history, and repairsMonitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement when requiredEnsure compliance with safety standards and company policiesCoordinate with operations and logistics teams regarding vehicle availabilityEnsure minimal downtime of vehicles and equipmentQualificationsMinimum 3–5 years of experience in garage supervision or fleet maintenanceStrong knowledge of truck and heavy equipment maintenanceExperience managing mechanics or technical staffGood understanding of vehicle diagnostics and repair proceduresStrong organizational and record-keeping skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple maintenance tasksGood communication and leadership skillsAutomotive or mechanical technical certification is an advantagePreferred SkillsExperience with fleet management systems.Knowledge of diesel engines and heavy transport vehiclesExperience working in construction, quarry, or transport companies
