Our flexible and inclusive work culture provides you with the autonomy, resources, and opportunities to succeed.Position DescriptionWe are looking for a talented and experienced GenAI Engineer to join our team in the GTA to assist with a long-term project at our financial services client.Workplace: Hybrid position, working remotely in Canada with some onsite work in Toronto officeMust Have SkillsDesign, develop, and maintain sophisticated NLP and Generative AI applications in PythonDesign and implement back-end APIs to deliver Python services to front-end applications using FastAPI and DockerExperience and exposure to Azure AI services, Vector databases, LLMs and RAG pipelinesOptimize application performance and ensure scalabilityCollaborate in the database design and management of those systems (MongoDB)Proficiency in utilizing Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps for building and deploying API-based solutionsStrong understanding of Azure architecture and infrastructure, including Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure Active Directory (AAD), and Azure networkingDemonstrated expertise in integrating Azure services with other components of the tech stack to create end-to-end solutions Ability to optimize performance and scalability of APIs and UI/UX solutions on Azure, including leveraging features like auto-scaling and cachingStrong knowledge of Azure DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testingProficiency in utilizing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerized deployment and orchestration of API-based solutionsFamiliarity with Azure Container Registry (ACR) for storing and managing container images securelyStay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of Generative AIBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Computational Linguistics, Data Science or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)Preferred SkillsExperience working with Python, particularly in relation to NLP and AIExposure to modern LLM-based libraries such as LangChain, PyTorch, GPT, Transformers Professional SkillsSolid written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsStrong team and individual playerMaintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by natureHigh standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality resultsSelf-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or interventionDemonstrate flexibility and openness to bring creative solutions to address issues Bridgenext is an Equal Opportunity EmployerCanadian citizens and those authorized to work in Canada are encouraged to apply
