Geophysical Equipment Technician

We work closely with clients in many industries to identify and implement solutions that meet specific project goals.POSITION SUMMARY: To install, operate and service geophysical surveying equipment, while collecting, compiling, and archiving related survey data. You will be required to fly in an aircraft, on a daily basis for lengthy periods of time, while operating the onboard survey equipment. The position involves working and living for extended periods of time in remote locations across Canada, U.S. and around the world.WHAT YOU’LL DO Install, operate and service surveying equipment. Assist in the inspection, testing and adjustment of electronic components. Ensure that quality standards are maintained. Responsible for the continuous operations of electronic equipment. Responsible for the collection, compilation and processing of operational data, reading and interpreting colour coded data.
