Our client, a privately owned Australian crew management company, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead end-to-end financial operations and ensure full compliance with local and international standards.Job Summary:To assist in completion, processing, and implementation of all accounting matters.Scope:Complete timely posting of general ledger entries in the system, maintaining accuracy and compliance with financial standards.Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for Corporate bank accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved.Prepare monthly reconciliations for customer allotments and related bank accounts, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved.Prepare balance sheet schedules, ensuring accuracy and alignment with reporting deadlines.Complete the issuance of monthly agency invoices and all re-charges charges in accordance with agreed schedule of rates and timelinesTrack and process remittances, ensuring timely settlement in accordance with agreed credit terms, and accuracy.Prepare payment instructions for appropriately approved expenses in the banking platform.Complete timely settlement and validation of intercompany charges.Reconcile and prepare for payment seafarer and employee benefits in accordance with Govt Agency requirementsMaintain and organize financial records with all supporting documents to ensure accessibility and audit readiness.Assist in the preparation of monthly cashflow forecast as requiredSupport the annual financial audit by preparing relevant documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.Requirements:At least 3 years related experience in Manning/Shipping company.Good written and verbal communication skillsProactive in managing exceptions to transactions / processesHigh attention to detail and accuracyCan work with strict deadlines and plan accordinglyProcess drivenTeam player who can focus individuallyResourcefulWorks well with other finance / operations teams to achieve outcomes
