This fresh perspective on the patient's role in health care represents a radical departure from the traditional idea of the patient as a passive recipient of medical services.The Medical City South Luzon is currently looking for an Accounting & Financial Analysis Manager (CPA):The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing patient care while adhering to established compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize them in accordance with the needs outlined by physicians.Financial Reporting- Prepare monthly report template, quarterly consolidation, and annual financial statements.- Prepare/oversee the preparation of the weekly operations committee report- Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards(IFRS), and other relevant accounting standards.- Coordinate and manage the external and internal audit process, including liaising with auditors, the BIR, and addressingaudit queries.Financial Planning and Forecasting- Lead the development of annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and rolling forecasts.- Collaborate with department heads to gather input and assumptions for budget and forecast preparation.- Analyze financial trends and variances (actual vs budget vs PY), providing actionable insights to senior management.Financial Analysis- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, margin analysis, and scenario planning.- Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives, new projects, and business opportunities.- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.Strategic Partnership- Act as a strategic partner to the Head of Finance and other executives, providing financial insights and recommendations. - Support the development and execution of the hospital's strategic plan. - Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive organizational goals. Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and develop the financial reporting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth. - Manage team workload, ensuring efficient and effective completion of tasks. - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Process Improvement - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting. - Ensure the integrity of the financial reporting system, including maintaining internal controls and adherence to policies and procedures. Stakeholder Management - Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and insights. - Communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders. Performance Management- Develop and propose own performance objectives; take appropriate actions to ensure achievement of agreed objectives, using the organization's performance management systems to improve personal performance. - Manage and report on team performance; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold people accountable for achieving them, taking appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team/personal objectives.
