This role is hands-on, combining supervisory responsibilities with on-site work. The Foreman will oversee small projects independently and support Site Superintendents on medium-sized projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support small projects independently, or assist Site Superintendents on larger projectsPerform carpentry and general labour tasks as required on-siteCoordinate with subcontractors, trades, and other RJS team membersCommunicate project progress to Project Managers and Site SuperintendentsMaintain accurate project documentation through ProcoreEnsure compliance with construction standards, safety regulations, and company policiesFoster teamwork and positive problem-solving on siteQualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman with a general contractor (required)Proven experience on small to medium-sized commercial, institutional, and light industrial projectsStrong knowledge of BC construction methods, codes, and documentsAbility to read and interpret scopes of work, drawings, schedules, and contract documentsSkilled in safety practices, team leadership, and project executionOrganized, adaptable, and proactive in solving challengesBasic computer skills including Outlook; Procore experience preferredReliable vehicle for transportation to and from job sitesMust be able to provide a satisfactory criminal record check.
