We are looking for a General Ledger Supervisor who will oversee day-to-day financial record keeping, reporting, and analysis for assigned entities.In this role, you will supervise a team of General Ledger Accountants & Specialists and ensure timely execution of journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities. You will collaborate closely with local finance teams, corporate accounting, and other GBS functions to deliver accurate, compliant, and high-quality GL results.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Operational OversightSupervise and guide a team responsible for General Ledger tasks within the Center of Excellence (COE).Establish work priorities, set team goals, assign tasks, and conduct performance reviews.Manage workload to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and overall service quality.Maintain and communicate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close calendars and checklists.Review and approve standard and complex journal entries in line with accounting policies and procedures.Review complex GL account reconciliations, including resolution of aged balances and follow-up with local finance teams.Coordinate journal entry processing and ensure completeness and accuracy of close deliverables.Act as a key contact for controllers and accounting managers during the close process.Act as a trusted consultant to Corporate and local finance teams for the most complex entities.Collaborate with local finance, tax, treasury, internal audit, and other GBS teams to resolve posting errors or process issues.Respond to inquiries related to adjustments, special journal entries, and close-related matters.Escalate process or procedural issues that conflict with Dentsply Sirona or GBS objectives.Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and company policies.Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.Conduct root-cause analysis on process issues and drive corrective actions.Support process enhancements and improvement initiatives led by Global Process Owners (GPOs).Participate in — and occasionally lead — the design, testing, and implementation of new tools, automations, and process improvements.Contribute to an environment that embraces change, efficiency, and standardization.Key Leadership BehaviorsDemonstrates a strong commitment to continuous process improvement.Builds professional and collaborative relationships with internal customers at all levels.Communicates effectively and presents information in a clear, structured manner.Acts with professionalism, accountability, and efficiency.Provides timely, accurate information and solutions.Balances and prioritizes multiple needs to meet deadlines.RequirementsBachelor’s degree required.5+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a shared services or multinational environment.Demonstrated experience supervising or leading a team is a strong advantage.Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.Experience with business accounting software is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Intermediate knowledge of business process design and analysis.Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.Ability to work in a dynamic, global environment undergoing process and technology transformation.Flexibility and willingness to drive change.Strong understanding of US GAAP and relevant statutory requirements.Fluency in English; additional languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian) are a plus.BenefitsProfessional development and possibility to grow within a newly established Shared Service Center based in Einpark Fully paid meal vouchers 7,70 Eur per working day 3 Health and Wellness days per yearFully paid sick leave up to one monthContribution to dental care up to 150 Eur per yearPension Contribution after 1 yearClasses of foreign languagesAccess to Multisport cardReferral Programe Bonus up to 1200 EurEmployee Assistance ProgrameSocial eventsRefreshment in the office – coffee, tea, water, fruit on WednesdaysYearly performance-based bonus Dentsply Sirona is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action employer.
