Leading hospital & health care company seeking a General Manager - Food & Nutrition Services for one of Washington DC's largest hospitals. Looking for an experienced leader with a passion for innovation, training, process improvement, and team building. This position will oversee all food services for the licensed hospital, including, retail, patient, and catering services.Responsibilities: Have oversight of day-to-day operations.Deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations.Achieve company and client financial targets and goals.Develop and maintain client and customer relationships (i.e., comfortable in c-suite settings where communication skills are imperative when serving as top level site management).Develop strategic plans.Ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance.Qualifications Overview: : A work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively.General Manager Food & Nutrition leadership experience in a healthcare environment.Experience managing in an union environment.Outstanding client relationship skills and strong financial acumen.The ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.The ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.Proficient in computer skills and report management experience.Minimum Requirements:Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience – 5 yearsMinimum Functional Experience – 5 yearsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.A work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively.General Manager Food & Nutrition leadership experience in a healthcare environment.Experience managing in a union environment.Proficient in computer skills and report management experience.Compensation: Annual salary $121K - $140K plus full benefits including:Medical, Dental, Vision Care and Wellness Programs.401(k) Plan with Matching Contributions.Paid Time Off and Company Holidays.Career Growth Opportunities and Tuition Reimbursement.Relocation assistance available
