Our mission is to help participants develop healthier lives and stronger social connections through quality support that enables them to achieve their goals.The RoleAs part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced General Manager - Operations to lead our operational, risk, and governance functions. This is a senior leadership position responsible for ensuring the organisation operates effectively, safely, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:OperationsResponsible for day-to-day leadership and management of full-time and casual staffOversee staff recruitment, induction, and training processesManage participant and staff management systemsOversee service delivery across all programs and servicesDrive continuous improvement in operational efficiencyDevelop and monitor team and organisational KPIsManage and mentor operational teamGovernanceLead governance processes including policy development and implementationEnsure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and regulatory requirementsManage quality assurance processes and internal auditsCoordinate regulatory reporting and submissions to the NDIS CommissionMaintain relationships with key stakeholders and external agenciesOversee organisational record keeping and documentation systemsRisk ManagementDevelop and implement risk management frameworksLead incident management and critical response processesEnsure workplace health and safety complianceMonitor and report on organisational risksManage complaints and feedback processesConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategiesAbout YouEssential:Strong operational leadership and team management skillsProven senior leadership experience in disability services, allied health or related health/community/education services sectorExcellent problem-solving and decision-making and leadership capabilitiesThorough understanding of NDIS framework, Practice Standards, and regulatory requirementsDemonstrated experience in risk management and governance frameworksExperience managing compliance and quality assurance processesDesirable:NDIS Approved Provider experienceRelevant tertiary qualifications in business, health, or related fieldProfessional qualifications in risk management or governanceExperience with growth or organisational changeWhat We OfferRemuneration $120,000 - $135,000 (negotiated on experience)Opportunity to make a genuine difference in people's livesSupportive team environment in growing organisationProfessional development and growth opportunitiesHow to ApplyPlease submit your CV and a cover letter addressing the key selection criteria to the Managing Director – alastair@buddiup.com.auApplications close: Friday 14th November 2025Buddiup Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive workforce.
