In compliance to ISO standards 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018Your Role In Our TeamAs a key member of the senior management team, the General Manager of Quality & Lean leads all quality related functions at our manufacturing site in Shah Alam. This role is responsible for driving customer orientation, compliance and excellence across Quality Management & Assurance, Integrated Management Systems (IMS), and Lean initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a senior professional with proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, ready to support the company’s ambitious growth targets.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management & Quality Assurance Ensure best-in-class customer satisfaction in terms of product quality, delivery dates and cooperation, both with internal and external customers.Review and approve final product quality and certifications with your final inspection team.Lead all problem-solving activities with your international partners.Improve all necessary inspections, quality loops and processes within our international production network with the target to prevent problems before they arise.Quality Management System & Integrated Management Systems Lead and continuously improve the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Integrated Management System (IMS) in close cooperation with the international sites Ensure compliance with local and international laws and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001,…) as well as customer-specific requirements.Oversee internal and external audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.Operational Excellence & LeanDrive Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate waste, improve process efficiency, and enhance product quality.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and operational excellence.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach & develop your team and build a department with target-orientation and trusting team spirit.Foster a culture of customer orientation, ownership, accountability, innovation, & continuous learning.Lead or support cross-departmental and global quality projects, maintaining close communication with your international counterparts.QualificationsBachelor’s / Master’s or MBA degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field with excellent results.Minimum 5 years of experience in quality leadership roles within manufacturing, preferably in an international setting.Strong knowledge of Quality Operations, QMS, IMS, Lean, Six Sigma and regulatory compliance.Good knowledge of SAP. as well as MS Office toolsExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a multinational environment. Trust is key.Fluent in English; German language would be an advantage.
