General Manager

该职位来源于猎聘 Summary We are seeking a result-driven and visionary General Manager to oversee the entire operations of the Nantong factory. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality deliverables while driving operational excellence and team development. This role requires a strategic leader with deep manufacturing expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to align factory operations with organizational goals. Responsibility:Overall accountability of the KM Nantong site and operations to ensure safety, quality, financial and delivery requirements are achievedEnsure the operational activities are carried out meeting KM internal requirements and external requirementsMaintenance of certifications, HSE, Security and Compliance in accordance with KM requirements and local legislationActive stakeholder management both internally with different KM business units and regions as well with external partiesBuilding and leading diverse and cross-functional organization towards common goalContinuous improvement and development of the operational performance and site capabilities to meet customer and business expectationsCompetenceBachelor’s degree in technology and engineering-related field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering /Marine Engineering); Master’s degree preferredMinimum 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Plant Manager, Operation Director)Nice to have experience in managing a brand-new workshop from start to full-scale serial productionMaritime industry background is preferredDeep expertise in manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Knowledge of HSE, Security and Compliance requirements.Skilled in budget management, cost control, and profitability improvementStrong business acumen, ability to link professional work with business goals, understand industry trends and market needs, and make decisions that drive business valueExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teamsAbility to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needsGood command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken What We Can Offer We cultivate a Nordic-inspired culture that puts people first:Work-Life Balance: Policies designed to help you thrive both at work and in life.Trust & Accountability: A collaborative space built on trust, where every voice matters and accountability is shared.Flexible Work Environment: Adaptable arrangements to support your productivity and personal priorities.
