General Manager – SingaporeLocation: Singapore Employment Type: Full-time Department: Executive Leadership / ManagementAbout the RoleWe are seeking a strategic, results-driven General Manager (GM) to oversee the overall business operations, drive growth, and manage cross-functional teams within our Singapore office. The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure alignment between business objectives and execution.As GM, you will be responsible for P&L management, business development, operational excellence, and strategic planning across the organisation.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & Business GrowthDevelop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and revenue targets.Oversee market analysis, competitor insights, and long-term planning to ensure business sustainability.Identify new opportunities for expansion, partnership, and diversification.2. Operational ManagementOversee daily operations across all departments including Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR, Finance, Product, and Customer Service.Ensure operational processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with global standards.Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.3. Financial & P&L OwnershipManage full P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions where needed.Ensure strong financial discipline and compliance with local regulations.4. Team Leadership & People DevelopmentLead, mentor, and empower department heads and cross-functional teams.Foster a high-performance culture with accountability, collaboration, and innovation.Support talent acquisition, retention, and leadership development initiatives.5. Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary representative of the Singapore business to partners, vendors, government bodies, and global stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry leaders.Provide clear communication and reporting to global/regional HQ.6. Risk, Compliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with all local laws, industry regulations, and corporate policies.Oversee risk management, crisis handling, and regulatory requirements.Implement strong internal controls and governance frameworks.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).8–15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including 3–5 years in senior management roles.Proven track record in leading business operations, driving revenue growth, and managing P&L.Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Ability to influence stakeholders and manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.Deep understanding of Singapore’s business landscape and regulatory environment.Experience in fast-paced industries (tech, fintech, e-commerce, logistics, manufacturing, etc.) is highly advantageous.Preferred QualificationsExperience managing regional or APAC markets.Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making.Background in digital transformation, scaling operations, or launching new products/markets.Ability to thrive in both corporate and high-growth/startup environments.Why Join UsLead and shape the strategic direction of the Singapore business.Work directly with global and regional leadership teams.High-impact role with significant autonomy and influence.Attractive compensation, leadership development opportunities, and regional exposure.
