German Web Content Editor

Job PurposeOrascom Hotels Management is looking for a Web Content Editor to be responsible for updating the content of our various hotels’ websites. This role requires familiarity with WordPress editor and other backend CMS systems, as well as fluency in both English, Arabic, German a plus. Key responsibilities:Collaborating with copywriters and designers to ensure their work aligns with company standards. Regular communication with writers and bloggers is essential to develop content, ensure translations are accurate, and that deadlines are met.Uploading and managing content (images, videos, text) through the backend CMS in various languages, including translating and localizing content for the specific audience.Editing, proofreading, and enhancing content for our hotel’s websites.Ensuring that the front-end display is correctly formatted after website updates.Coordinating with the hotels team to verify the accuracy of information.Maintaining all websites' content, ensuring it is reviewed, edited, proofread, and enhanced based on the organization’s and hotels' tone of voice, as well as best practices in both Arabic and English.Designing content to appeal to our target audience, based on recommendations from marketing, hotels, and organization teams, with a focus on effectively reaching all target markets and users.Copywriting single pages on request, including crafting compelling offers, detailed room descriptions, short articles, or blogs, tailored to engage and inform our end users.Integrating into the digital marketing team flow to understand the nuances of writing for our target audience, informed by research and analysis for each market and audience segment.Following SEO best practices in writing and editing, and integrating SEO strategies into the content marketing workflow.Initiating suggestions for content and workflow improvements to enhance content writing efficiency for the organization, ensuring high-quality, well-written EnglishEnsuring all information on our websites is correct, continuously liaising with the hotel team to stay updated with any new information, services, or events.Proposing new blog articles based on work experience with the hotel and marketing team, supported by the digital marketing team, with a focus on topics appealing to website visitors.QualificationsFluent in written and spoken EnglishArabic and German written skills a plusExcellent writer and readerAbility to proofread and edit other people's contentHave a good understanding of website content development, search engine optimizationMinimum one year experience
