Job Summary: The Production Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to meet customer demands, optimize resource utilization, and maximize operational efficiency. A key part of this role is to monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by collaborating with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime, improve quality, and boost productivity. Job Responsibilities: Identify resource bottlenecks in advance, enabling strategic investment decisions in capacity. Minimizes inventory holding costs by synchronizing production with actual demand. Prevents overproduction or underproduction, helping control operational costs and waste.
Incorporate OEE data (availability, performance, quality) into scheduling decisionsSet priorities for production orders based on factors such as due dates, customer importance, material availability, and production constraints. Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and proactively reschedule to address delays, bottlenecks, or urgent orders and adjust production plans. Respond to disruptions (e. g. , machine breakdowns, material delays) by re-prioritizing or rescheduling. Close coordination with production, validation and cross functional department in order to meet the target of production. Key Requirements:
a BBA, MBA or relevant degreea minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experiencestrong analytical, problem-solving skills and have a continuous improvement mindset Skilled in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
