You will report functionally to the Global Team Leader Direct Consumables Sourcing. Join the team and shape the future of Procurement with us!The Global Category Manager MRO and Maintenance Services is supporting and preparing the further development of the global category strategy in collaboration with the country-organizations and in alignment with the Global Team Leader Direct Consumables Sourcing.YOUR NEXT CHALLENGEConstant development and refinement of the global category strategy for MRO-parts and services with the Global Team LeaderCreation of further spend-transparency for MRO-categories with focus on highly diverse categoriesCreation of Further spend-transparency servicesSupport of group stock-optimization projects group (e.g. Nordics with GBPE) together with the Global Team LeaderDriving strategic MRO focus-topics as predictive maintenanceStrategic supplier meetings with dealers for MRO partsSupport and preparation of global frame contract negotiations with key-suppliers for MRO-parts and servicesOrganization and support of bundling-activities for MRO-products together with country organizations for homogenous MRO-categories e.g. fasteners, conveyor-beltsBest practice identification and sharing of services- and MRO-strategies and actions across countriesEscalation-support for country organizations with global suppliersYOUR PROFILEmin. 5 years of professional experience in Procurement, preferably in the building materials industry or other producing industries; vendor management practicesProven experience in category-strategy-definition and -analysis, global tender execution and data analysis for cost-optimization, including successful management and integration of central stakeholders in a bigger multi-national groupGood understanding of procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation design, contract negotiation, and performance management, in both buyer and international supplier markets environmentsMinimum bachelor's degree in business-administration or industrial engineeringExcellent verbal and written communication skills (min.
