Group HR Business PartnerLocation: Gothenburg, Sweden (candidates must be based in or near the region)Industry: International Product-Led Organisation (Health, Accessibility, Consumer Wellbeing)Company Size: Mid-sized, global presence across Europe, North America, and APACJob Type: Full-time | PermanentAbout the RoleWe are supporting an established international organisation in appointing a Group HR Business Partner to lead people, culture, and organisational development across a global structure. This is a newly created and strategic role that will work closely with the Group CEO and COO, shaping the HR function from the ground up while also taking a hands-on and practical approach to day-to-day HR delivery.The organisation has solid European foundations, a growing international footprint, and a strong mission-led culture. The HR Business Partner will play a central role in building the structures, processes, and behaviours that support long-term organisational success.Due to the close collaboration required with leadership and teams, candidates must be based in or around Gothenburg, Sweden.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and lead the HR function for an international organisation.Develop and implement HR processes, policies, and ways of working across multiple regions.Partner with leadership to strengthen organisational structure, governance, and decision-making.Lead recruitment activities and support managers throughout the hiring process.Drive culture initiatives and support the organisation in defining and embedding shared values.Develop frameworks for performance, succession planning, and competency development.Ensure compliance with labour laws, collective agreements, and employment regulations.Lead annual salary reviews, benchmarking, and support incentive program design.Act as a bridge between employees, managers, and leadership, ensuring clarity and alignment.Provide leadership coaching and support, and handle complex people matters.Introduce HR systems, digital tools, and HR analytics to support data-driven decision-making.Support international teams across Europe, North America, and APAC as needed.What You BringSignificant HR experience in an international, commercial, or product-led organisation.Alternatively: operational leadership experience with strong HR competence and interest.Proven experience establishing or developing HR functions from scratch.Strong understanding of culture-building, leadership development, and organisational change.Structured, analytical, and comfortable working with policies, compliance, and governance.High integrity; able to make clear decisions and stand by them fairly and consistently.Hands-on approach; comfortable taking ownership of both strategic and practical tasks.Fluent in Swedish and English.This opportunity suits someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the ability to influence the full employee experience in a mid-sized, growing international business.Why This Role May AppealShape the HR foundation of an organisation entering its next phase of growth.Work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in defining culture and ways of working.Visible role with influence across multiple regions.Combination of strategic input and practical ownership.Mission-led organisation with products that make a positive real-world impact.CompensationCompetitive fixed salary aligned with senior HR leadership roles in Sweden.
