Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We are currently seeking a Global Product Marketing Manager to join our team. The position will be located in Etters, PA.ResponsibilitiesThe Global Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting existing Cable Backplane Systems business and driving the development of new markets and customers to help ensure continued growth within the ACS Division. This position works closely with a number of different Amphenol teams, including Engineering and Sales, to identify, develop, and capture business opportunities worldwide. More specific responsibilities include:Direct and manage the Product Marketing of the product portfolio and services to drive market share and revenue growthDevelop competitive analyses and pricing strategies to win majority market share across the industryDrive a strong understanding of the customers’ product requirements within engineering to help ensure project priorities meet customers’ expectationsOversee customer product qualificationsIdentify product gaps related to customer market share opportunities and communicate these back through the engineering team for developmentMonitor revenue and margin targets; work with sales and operations to close gapsNegotiate quarterly, semi-annual, and annual contracts with customersDirect status meetings with customers, sales, product management, operations, and engineeringWork with group marketing on product promotion and web site search optimizationDevelop annual strategy and budget expectationsWork with sales to manage and maximize design win opportunitiesQualificationsBS Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with MBA preferred5-10 years relevant experience with working knowledge of Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operational disciplines in Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing3+ years of experience managing high performing teams3+ years of experience working in high speed interconnectAchievements indicating strong financial, leadership, and business management skillsComfortable working with multiple levels of the organization and with all functional groupsCompetency in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPointTravel is required, with some travel to AsiaAmphenol Corporation is proud of our reputation as an excellent employer.
