As part of the General and Trade Compliance global team, the Trade and Risk Compliance Analyst supports the Global Trade Compliance and Risk Manager activities to ensure compliance and identify risks. This role interacts with the Global Trade Compliance organization and participates in data analysis to uphold compliance standards for Markem-Imaje.A key responsibility of this role is to help enable the business to fully comply with all relevant trade compliance laws and regulations through data analytics. Close collaboration with Global Trade Compliance, Risk Manager, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, Replenishment and Sourcing is required to successfully enable compliance.This role will be based in the Dover Business Services (DBS) office, based in Globalworth Plaza in Bucharest.What you will do:Design, develop, and maintain metrics, presentations, reports, analyses, and dashboards that will be used to drive key business decisions and ensure compliance.Engage in process and system solutions using SharePoint and other MS tooling for core trade compliance processes and risk analysis.Organize and transform data into comprehensible, usable, and actionable information.Explore data to identify statistical relationships, trends, patterns, and anomalies.Conduct internal reviews to identify and explain risks to stakeholders, utilizing visualizations and presentations to showcase key data insights by telling the story through clean, concise, and well-organized slides.Analyze and support import/export brokerage services and the overall broker risk management program (including developing KPIs and monitoring metrics).Ensure that post or pre-entry check processes for imports and exports are managed properly by operations and participate with Global Logistics on broker performance reviews.Report and escalate issues or potential violations to the Global Risk Manager, Regional Trade Compliance Manager, or the Trade Compliance Director as needed.Support Customs Classification processes (Export Control Classification, Country of Origin Determination, Valuation analysis) where applicable.Elicit reporting and analysis requirements from the Compliance Legal Team to deliver data-driven solutions and support Regional Trade Compliance Managers in implementing Global Trade Compliance (GTC) standards and procedures.What you need to have:Degree in Business Intelligence, Trade Compliance, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics or other relevant degree.2-3 years of Trade Compliance or Risk background in a fast-paced industryBasic Trade Compliance knowledge a mustStrong attention to detail, passion for data accuracy, and high personal integrityAbility to clearly articulate and visually present complex data relationships and analysis resultsWorks well under pressure and can set priorities, drives actions until completeExcellent communication skillsA team player with ability to work independently with minimal supervisionConfident, ability to work effectively at all levels of the organizationGood change management agent, open-minded, result-oriented, pro-activeBusiness focused and adaptive to changeIntermediate level of ExcelSAP user experience, good to haveKnowledge of effective Risk and/or Corporate Trade Compliance Programs a plusGood level of EnglishWhat we offer:A job opportunity in an international company with Global scopeTransportation allowanceAnnual Performance Gross BonusLunch Vouchers monthlyCultural Vouchers monthlySpecial Occasions Bonus as per the current legislationMedical Plan: medical subscriptionAnnual Vacation Entitlement: 22 days + 1 additional day for your birthdayWay of Working: HybridYou’ll only be the right candidate if you are aligned to our values and culture: Collaborative entrepreneurial spirit.Winning through customers.High ethical standards, openness and trust.Expectations for results.Respect and value people.If you believe you match our values and have the experience we’re looking for, then apply!
