GMS Site Engineer (m/f/d)Location: Dresden, Germany (Full Time)Who we areWe’re proud to be a trusted partner to ESMC, delivering turnkey facility project solutions and specialized system engineering services — always tailored to the unique needs of our clients.About the RoleWe are looking qualified GMS Site Supervisors (m/f/d) with valid German electrical certification (Elektrofachkraft) and authorization for energization approval and documentation sign-off.The role is responsible for supervising on-site installation, testing, and inspection of Gas Monitoring Systems (GMS) in semiconductor facility projects, ensuring all works comply with German safety regulations (DGUV, DIN/VDE) and company quality standards, including electrical energization and documentation approval.Key Responsibilities• Supervise the on-site installation, wiring, and testing of Gas Monitoring Systems (GMS) in semiconductor facilities.• Ensure all electrical and mechanical works comply with DGUV, DIN/VDE, and company safety standards.• Monitor construction quality, progress, and manpower allocation to ensure schedule adherence and installation accuracy.• Review and verify installation workmanship, technical drawings, and system layouts.• Sign and approve energization documents, inspection reports, and commissioning records in accordance with German regulations.• Coordinate daily site activities among contractors, design engineers, and client representatives.• Conduct on-site inspections, safety audits, and prepare daily reports and material tracking logs.• Support FAT/SAT testing, system commissioning, and project handover documentation.• Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with company EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements.• Participate in site meetings, resolve technical or scheduling conflicts, and ensure timely project completion.• Maintain organized documentation including checklists, issue logs, and as-built records.Qualifications• Certified Elektrofachkraft (in accordance with DGUV Regulation 3), authorized to perform and sign electrical works.• Authorized to approve energization and technical documentation for site testing and commissioning.• Strong knowledge of DGUV, DIN/VDE, and CE electrical safety standards.• Proven experience in site supervision, MEP installation, or system construction management.• Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, and as-built documentation independently.• Familiar with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements and site safety management practices.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin, with strong coordination ability.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with AutoCAD/Visio is a plusPreferred Skills• Experience supervising works in semiconductor facilities, cleanrooms, or other high-tech construction environments.• Familiarity with CE, ISO, VOB/B, DGUV, and EN60204-1 regulations and engineering standards.• Possession of SCC/VCA or German electrical safety training certificates (e.g., site safety supervisor or electrical operations safety).• Understanding of German construction documentation and acceptance procedures (e.g., Prüfprotokoll, Abnahme, Übergabe).• Experience in multinational project coordination, communicating effectively with German clients, inspectors, and subcontractors.• Strong multi-tasking ability to manage schedule, quality, and safety simultaneously.• Skilled in problem analysis, issue resolution, and continuous improvement on site operationsPlease submit your CV in English, if you are legally authorized to work in Germany
