Headquartered in Dubai, iMile operates across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Latin America, providing smart, technology-driven logistics solutions tailored for e-commerce businesses.With a strong operational footprint and rapidly expanding global presence, iMile is committed to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous innovation in cross-border and last-mile logistics services.Role OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Government Relations Officer (GRO) to join our Legal Department. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between iMile and UAE government authorities, ensuring full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.This role plays a critical part in supporting legal and operational activities by managing regulatory filings, licenses, labor-related matters, and coordination with relevant government entities.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent the company before ministries, municipalities, courts, notaries, police stations, and other UAE government authorities.Manage the filing, renewal, and maintenance of trade licenses, permits, approvals, visas, and other regulatory documentation.Ensure timely submission of all compliance-related documents, court filings, and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with government entities regarding labor cases, criminal matters, litigation, and legal proceedings when required.Handle driver-related government issues including fines, permits, documentation, and corrective actions.Monitor updates in UAE laws, labor regulations, and governmental procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.Maintain accurate records of all government transactions and legal documentation.Support the Legal Department in administrative and regulatory matters as needed.Education & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Law, Public Administration, or a related field (preferred).Additional certifications in legal compliance or government relations are an advantage.Experience RequirementsMinimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar Government Relations Officer or Legal Liaison role within the UAE.Strong working knowledge of UAE local laws, labor regulations, immigration procedures, and government systems.Experience dealing with courts, police stations, labor departments, and municipalities.Skills & CompetenciesFluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).Strong communication and negotiation skills.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
