Graduate Accountant

This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a career in finance within a dynamic and multidisciplinary marine services company.The Graduate Accountant will support the CFO in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Monthly Management AccountsPrepare monthly management accounts in line with reporting deadlinesProcess month-end journals including prepayments, cost and revenue accrualsProvide financial analysis and support as required by the CFOGeneral Accounting DutiesAssist with the preparation of annual financial statements and audit requirementsMaintain control systems over accounting transactionsSupport accounts payable processes, including subcontractor payments and weekly payrollAssist with sales invoicing and other financial documentationRequirements Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Mathematics Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and organisational skillsBenefitsStudy support is offered for a professional accountancy qualificationThis is a full-time, entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the companyPrivate Healthcare PlanPension PlansLife AssuranceWork From HomeEmployee Assistance ProgrammeCycle to work and EV schemes
