In this role, they will work directly with the Project Manager and report to the executive lead of the Creative Services Design team, both in Los Angeles. They will research, conceptualize, design, and produce outstanding creative on a wide range of projects including presentation decks, intranet materials, movie screening, party and event invitations, websites, video graphics, ads, logos, branded materials, collateral and foundation designs, Outlook email graphics and email templates for department newsletters (internal and external). The Graphic Designer is also a key part of the team who will design and produce monthly Agency staff meetings, yearly Retreats and special events. They will also work on special projects for the Agency and our clients.Responsibilities to include but not limited to:Meet with assistants, agents, executives and clients regarding photography and videography needsDiscuss needs with colleague, client or manager and advise on best plan to build out visual tools for internal or external needs using CAA’s exclusive pitching applications to secure business opportunities for clients, colleagues, and agency as a wholeWork in conjunction with Head of Production and Project Manager to produce, source, organize, edit, and archive corporate and client materialsHandle all aspects of production for a talking-head style interviewCreate individualized plan to showcase client materials as described in requests using creative judgement, communicate with Project Manager and stakeholders, and address notes as neededBring unique point-of-view, trained eye, natural ability for pacing, education, and specialized skillsets to every requestWork independently without on-site production support, managing all aspects of photo and video set-up efficiently and within tight timelinesEvent and portrait photographyColor correction and photo editingNavigate multiple projects in various stages of production and post-production to completionBrainstorm with creative team on upcoming projects or pitchesManaging individual workload via assigned Asana ticketsLive editing during special recorded events via Livestream Studio, on-site, or other platformStay up to date on latest video and photography trends and applications to continually improve skillsTroubleshoot and problem-solve using vast knowledge of pre-production, production, and post-production best practices and softwareQualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s degree in graphic arts, fine arts, visual arts, media or a relevant experience5+ years of professional experience working in a fast-paced environment as part of a creative teamStellar portfolio showcasing past workUnderstanding of core design principals and proven exceptional taste level through collaboration with other designers in developing a corporate style guide and recreating templates for branded workExcellent communication skills including the ability to articulate visioning, creative concepts, and rationale for design decisionsWorking knowledge of collaborative design tool platforms (Figma, Miro) and templated design platforms (Campaign Monitor, Stripo, Wordpress, Canva).Ability to design elevated branding for internal materials and client projectsHighly proficient on MacMastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and an understanding of new technologies and ways to harness them for our workMastery of Keynote and PowerPointA positive, hard-working “can-do” attitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPride in your work and the work of the teamPassion for innovationEye for details, ability to carefully address notes when givenDemonstrated ability to work well and communicate effectively within a team and under pressureExcellent communication skillsDesire to be a part of an organization that values teamwork and taking care of each otherPlease ensure you provide complete and legible information in your application.
