Your role would be to create graphic assets seen in-game, including logos, icons, typography, decals, UI-assets and illustrations, thus shaping various in-game brand identities and keeping design continuity. Within this role you will also be tasked with creating various branding assets for promotional and social media platforms. In this role you will:Collaborate with the Creative Director, the 3D Art Team and the Concept Team to produce graphic elements that can be used to enhance and supplement all in-game art assets.Produce in-game design elements such as icons, logos, typography, decals, printed materials, display UI elements, labels, maps, infographics, TV motion graphics and diegetic UI elements.Create brand identity for in-game brands.Produce illustrations for in-game use and external promotion.Help create a consistent design language for various aspects of project worldbuilding.Collaborate with art and design teams to integrate the assets in the game.Provide initial ideas rapidly through rough sketches, progressing through the entire art creation process until achieving the final results.Communicate effectively and be able to accept and apply direction on your work. YOUR QUALIFICATIONS3+ years of experience as a graphic designer in the games and/or film industry.Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.Ability to create assets (logos, icons, typography, layouts, UI elements) from start to finish: starting with sketches, high quality renders and making assets ready to be integrated.Strong knowledge of print media design.Strong art foundations and design skills.Ability to create assets within the art direction while keeping game design constraints in mind.Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively coordinate with your team, producers, designers and other artists.Eagerness to receive, seek, and provide constructive feedback.Well versed in working collaboratively in a team setting. EXTRA POINTSExperience working on MMOs or open-world titles.A strong understanding of working with various 3D packages and being able to perform posing, lighting, and rendering in 3D.Experience with node graph based workflows (such as Substance Designer, Nuke, Davinci Resolve or Shader Graphs).Experience with UI design.Experience with web design.Experience launching brands.Experience creating typefaces.Familiarity with Unreal Engine. WHAT WE OFFERSalary offered is based on numerous factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills and organizational needs.Initial contract duration of 1 year (32-40 hours per week).Yearly full-time gross salary of € 37K - € 56K (including 8% holiday bonus).Working from home 1 day per week.25 vacation days per year + additional based on tenure.Annuity/pension (10% of base gross salary, paid monthly).Travel cost compensation (all public transportation or € 0,23 per km of car/bicycle journey, paid monthly).Free lunch.
