The company has the financial and human capacity to manage simultaneous well operations and is dedicated to meeting client needs through high-quality services and sustainable practices.Role DescriptionThis is a temporary on-site role for a Graphic Designer located in Port Harcourt. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual designs, including graphics, logos, and branding materials. The role involves working collaboratively to develop creative concepts, ensuring brand consistency, and producing high-impact, visually appealing designs. Tasks will also include incorporating typography elements to enhance the overall design deliverables while adhering to project timelines.Key Responsibilities:In this role, you will be responsible for:Concept & Creation: Designing and producing a wide array of marketing and sales materials, including digital ads, social media graphics, email templates, presentation decks, infographics, and print collateral.Brand Stewardship: Upholding and evolving our brand identity across all touchpoints, ensuring visual consistency and coherence in every project.Collaboration: Working closely with the Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to understand project requirements, conceptualize ideas, and deliver designs that meet both creative and business objectives.Project Management: Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, from concept to final delivery, while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Asset Production: Preparing and delivering final assets in the correct formats for web, print, and social media platforms.Feedback Integration: Proactively incorporating feedback and making revisions to refine designs to perfection.Required Skills & Experience:Proven professional experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in an agency or in-house creative team.An impressive portfolio showcasing a strong sense of typography, color, layout, and visual storytelling across both digital and print media.High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are essential).Experience with Figma or Sketch for digital/UI design tasks.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering pixel-perfect work.QualificationsProficiency in Graphics, Graphic Design, and creating visually appealing contentExperience in Logo Design and developing cohesive Branding materialsStrong skills in Typography and its application in creative designDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines with attention to detailKnowledge of design software such as Adobe Suite is requiredA portfolio showcasing previous graphic design workBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related discipline is preferredHow to ApplyIf you're ready to create impactful work with us, please apply with:Your resume.A link to your online portfolio.A brief note in your application/cover email telling us why you're the perfect fit for this contract role.Please submit your application to contact@rigdown.co.uk with the subject line "Graphic Designer Contract Application - [Your Name]".
