Role overviewDuty Manager (Greggs in SPAR), Phoenix Parkup to £13.25 p/h (depending on age). Various shifts available.We have an exciting opportunity at our Phoenix Park store for a Duty Manager (Greggs at SPAR) to work in our fresh food operation, As a member of the ‘Duty Manager’ team, effective through all operational hours of the store, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in leading and motivating a team of colleagues. You will be a member of the Store Manager’s leadership team ensuring excellent customer service, contributing to achieving store sales and profitability through ‘Brilliant Basics, Moments of Wow, Food For Later, Food For Now’.Key Tasks/ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Store Manager to ensure a safe, legal and high performing store, whilst taking overall responsibility for the Greggs departmentAssisting the Store Manager to deliver all store operations, objectives and KPI’sManaging, coaching and supporting colleagues, assisting in developing a motivated and empowered team through a positive, engaging management styleCarrying out performance management/absence management as appropriate Responsible for occasional opening/closing of the store, colleague safety and stock/cash security/accountability as appropriate during shiftsCarrying out cash reconciliations, voids and refunds and other ‘management’ tasks for till colleagues Being a role model and leading the team to work together to provide an exceptional customer experience, setting us apart from our competitorsWorking with colleagues to promote the store by identifying and actioning opportunities to engage with and support the local communityAdhering to all company policies and procedures and processesSkills / Abilities / Knowledge / ExperiencePrevious experience of working for Greggs preferredPrevious management or supervisor experience within a food retail or similar fast-paced operationCommitted to achieving and sustaining exceptional customer service standardsAble to plan, organise and prioritise effectivelyAbility to communicate and influence at all levelsAble to take appropriate action and make decisions Committed to promoting collaborative workingEnthusiastic and flexible with a positive attitudeCommitted to developing own skills and apply learning to improve own performanceWhat's in it for you?Excellent Benefits Package IncludingHoliday, Maternity and Paternity leave and pay in excess of statutory entitlementsDevelop your skills and capability in a highly supportive and multi-diverse cultureOutstanding Training & DevelopmentGain hands-on experience in a high volume, fast paced convenience storeGenerous staff discount in all our SPAR stores (excl.
