Role summaryReporting to the Head of Cleaning and Grounds (Shepperton), the Group Grounds Operative focuses on the cleanliness of the Studios.Hours of work: 8 hours per day, between the hours of 06:00 – 15:00 Monday – Friday, with one weekend every 3 – 4 weeks.Principle accountabilitiesMonitor and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the studio siteClean, sweep and de-weed all roads and pathways, car parks, external lighting and signageSnow and ice clearance/gritting when requiredRemove refuse, white goods and general rubbish. Remove rubble and palletsJet wash buildings and covered areasEscalate any issues to manager and/or facility services teamMaintain, clean and report any issues with the Scarab Road sweeper and electric vehiclesNature and scopeMost of the individual’s time is spent completing the principle accountabilities. There are minimal planning horizons, and they mainly complete in-day tasks. Some technical training may be needed but this can be provided on-the-job. There is minimal autonomy and direction is provided by management.
