Group Financial Controller - FinTech

JSS Financial Services is partnering with a high-growth technology company in the alternative investments sector. The company’s innovative platform supports clients globally across multiple investment strategies, including private equity, growth equity, venture capital, infrastructure, and private credit.Following significant recent funding and continued global growth, the organisation is now seeking a Global Financial Controller to strengthen its financial leadership team.Role SummaryThe Global Financial Controller will lead financial operations across Europe and play a key global role in building a scalable, audit-ready finance infrastructure. This position is suited to a technically strong, commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role will report to the CFO and be pivotal in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, implementing robust controls, driving compliance, and supporting strategic initiatives.Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & AccountingOversee group accounting, consolidation, and month-end close across multiple entities and currencies.Lead statutory reporting and audit processes under local GAAP and IFRS.Develop and implement policies for inter-entity transactions and cross-border charges.Support treasury and cash management as the company scales.Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts to the CFO and board.Internal Controls & ComplianceDesign and implement strong financial controls, policies, and processes.Ensure compliance with tax, payroll, and regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.Lead preparation for investor due diligence and future fundraising rounds.Business Partnering & Strategic FinanceCollaborate with FP&A to align financial reporting with business metrics, forecasts, and scenario planning.Support the CFO with board reporting, investor communications, and strategic finance projects.Drive the implementation and optimisation of finance systems (ERP and reporting tools).Candidate Profile:Qualified Accountant8–12 years’ experience in a global finance role, ideally within SaaS, FinTech, or technology-driven organisations.Proven background managing multi-entity consolidations, audits, and financial controls.Strong working knowledge of IFRS and international tax/compliance frameworks.Hands-on leader with the ability to scale systems, processes, and teams within a high-growth environment.Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP tools is advantageous.Fluency in French would be beneficial.
