Job SummaryAs the Growth & Launch Marketing Specialist, you’ll own the zero-paid launch strategy for our WordPress AI SEO product — building momentum across social, influencer, and partner ecosystems.You’ll design and execute the “no-ads launch engine” built around 3 pillars:Social (owned audience) – Build our brand’s presence and following on X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and niche WP/SEO communities.Influencers & Creators (borrowed audience) – Recruit creators, WordPress educators, and SEO YouTubers to amplify reach.Agency Partners (embedded distribution) – Build partnerships with small/medium SEO and WP agencies to integrate the plugin into their client services.This is a hands-on marketing leadership role — part strategist, part operator, part storyteller — focused on generating early traction and shaping the public narrative for the product. Responsibilities1. Social Growth (Owned Audience)Build and manage the brand’s social presence on Twitter/X and LinkedIn.Create and execute a content calendar around 3–4 pillars:Before/After SEO winsTiny tutorials and Loom-style videosEducational SEO insights and founder storiesRepurpose and cross-post content across platforms (X, LinkedIn, Reddit, FB Groups).Build lightweight community engagement loops through comments, DMs, and polls.2. Influencer & Creator PartnershipsIdentify and engage mid-tier creators in WordPress, SEO, and blogging niches.Develop and manage affiliate and partnership offers (rev-share, discounts, co-branded content).Pitch clear content ideas (“24-Hour SEO Makeover” or “AI Cleans My WordPress Site”) and support creators with scripts, visuals, and test sites.Track campaign performance and manage influencer reporting.3. Agency & Partner DistributionBuild the early partner program for WordPress dev shops, SEO agencies, and content firms.Craft partner collateral (one-page PDFs, landing pages, checklists, and demo videos).Pitch directly on LinkedIn and email, focusing on “SEO automation as a service upsell.”Manage early partner onboarding, tracking, and co-marketing.4. Growth Systems & ReportingOwn growth KPIs: organic reach, social engagement, partner count, and installs.Set up simple analytics dashboards (GA4, Search Console, or Notion/Sheets-based).Conduct weekly experiments, document learnings, and optimize based on traction.Collaborate with founders and product to shape the go-to-market voice and roadmap. RequirementsMust-Have4–6 years of growth, content, or product marketing in SaaS, WordPress, or SEO tools.Proven track record of organic growth execution (social media, partnerships, or community building).Strong understanding of WordPress and SEO ecosystems (plugins, influencers, agencies).Excellent written and spoken English communication.Experience working in lean startup or agency environments with limited budgets.Comfort with creating simple content (threads, Looms, posts) and managing creators.Nice-to-HavePrior experience launching or marketing WordPress plugins or SaaS tools.Network of WordPress or SEO creators/agencies.Knowledge of AI marketing tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc.) to scale creative output.Familiarity with affiliate systems (Rewardful, FirstPromoter, PartnerStack).
