We specialize in implementing and optimizing HCM solutions for clients across multiple regions.  About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced GL Consultant with strong expertise in General Ledger configuration, client-facing solution design, and technical integration development (XML/XSLT) to join our HCM team. In this role, you will collaborate directly with clients to understand their financial reporting needs, configure GL structures and develop seamless integrations that connect Dayforce to external accounting, payroll, and reporting systems.  Key ResponsibilitiesWork on GL configuration, including chart of accounts, costing, and financial mappings. Engage with clients to gather, analyse, and translate business and accounting requirements into system configurations and integration designs. Design, develop, and maintain XML/XSLT-based integrations for data exchange between Dayforce and external financial systems. Ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of journal entries across Payroll, HR, and Finance modules. Test end-to-end GL processes and troubleshoot configuration or integration issues. Document configuration steps, mappings, and workflows clearly and accurately. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Integration, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance) to ensure high-quality project delivery. Support migration and deployment of GL configurations and integrations across environments (Test, UAT, Production).  Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.  Technical Skills: 3–5+ years of experience with Dayforce (A MUST), ERP, or HCM systems, focusing on General Ledger and financial configuration. Strong hands-on expertise in Dayforce GL setup and financial data mapping. Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and related data transformation technologies. Experience developing or maintaining integrations between Dayforce and ERP/Finance systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Understanding of financial posting logic, costing structures, and journal entry workflows. Familiarity with APIs, SFTP, and web service connectivity. Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting. Experience with Dayforce release management and version control tools is an asset.  Soft Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills with a client-focused mindset. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional, global team environment. Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Fluency in English and French.  Shift Information• Aligned with North American Eastern Standard Time (EST) SHARE YOUR CV TO: qaynaat.gopaul@bdo.mu
