Talent Officer

Forvis Mazars in Mauritius is actively recruiting a Talent Officer to perform all aspects of Human Resource function in an effective and efficient manner that is aligned to the firm’s strategic goal.Duties and responsibilitiesEnsure compliance with Workers’ Rights Act.Assist in the recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new employees.Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures.Assist in designing and running employee training and development programs.Maintain HR records, including employee files, compensation, and benefits information.Handle employee relations and resolve any workplace conflicts or issues.Administer compensation and payroll programs and ensure accurate processing of payroll.Assist in developing employee recognition and rewards programs.Using HR software HRMS and Netsuite for operations.Assist in overseeing and manage employee wellness and safety programs.Assist in managing and resolving employee complaints and grievances.Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees.Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.Stay updated on current industry trends and best practices in HR management.Ensure deadlines adherence for both internal and Group reporting, which includes HR surveys and training reports and;Perform cognate duties as required to support organizational objectives.Qualifications and experienceAt least 2-3 years of experience in HR Management or a similar role.Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.Experience in recruiting, training, or organizational development.Knowledge of MS Office.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Expertise in resolving conflicts and fostering healthy workplace relationships.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Why join usForvis Mazars is a leader in audit, tax and advisory services worldwide, operating across 100+ countries and territories.
