Job Description

As Head Business Strategy, you are responsible to lead and coordinate the development of the strategy for the business units (BU) of SIX, while supporting the overall SIX strategy. As part of the diverse SIX strategy team with wide-ranging expertise in close cooperation with the BUs, you will play a key role within the Corporate Development department. You will drive the development of the business strategy as well as both organic and inorganic strategic measures. Thereby, you will also be working closely and independently with senior stakeholders such as BU heads and BU MC members to create, validate and challenge the appropriate strategy to support growth.  What You Will Do Lead strategy development of SIX business units in close alignment with the overall SIX strategy Support the BU Exchanges as dedicated strategy lead in addition to your role as a leader of the team Be a trusted partner for key business unit stakeholders such BU MC members and BU Head on strategic topics Support BU specific strategic activities such as supporting product strategy, definition of strategic measures, external assessment of environment (macro-economic, products / markets, customer segments, trends monitoring) and competitive benchmarking Support the inorganic roadmap development together with the M&A team   Support CEO, CFO, Chairman on ad-hoc strategic topics related to business units  What You Bring Extensive experience in a strategy-related role managing strategy creation, including strategic analyses and leading strategic initiatives Experience of the exchanges sector (direct experience with FMIs is an advantage) University degree, ideally with a specialization in business, finance, economics Excellent analytical/conceptual skills, strong thought leadership and story-lining skills, as well as a structured and results-oriented mindset Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, working across the matrix and forming / leading cross functional teams  Excellent command of written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an advantage
